"A memory (featuring Vincent's chair)".
Acrylics, and permanent marker on paper. 2015. 62x40 cm.

Read on for an explanation.

This painting incorporates a quote from another artist. The outline bottom left is that of Vincent Van Gogh's Chair, as it is known.

This painting reflects a personal childhood memory. It is not intended as a paraphrase of said chair painting. This particular chair simply had to have a presence in the painting due to the topic at hand -- and, being a memory; as a "ghost image" of sorts.
