Production time for this piece was around 30 hours in just two sittings.

Seriously, this is one of my very best pieces. It has a very large amount of details, pattern, and texture work. Some of these things -- especially textures -- are not visible in small picture sizes.

You may see an eye in the original photo (bottom). It's there allright, and it's a photo, not a manipulation. Well, that's what happens when you watch things closely and patiently, you discover details.
