This is a still life. Two identical images have been cross-processed.

There is no manipulation here - every single thing can be done in a darkroom using good old-fashioned film. This photo is supposed to look exactly like this and in no other way. It took quite some work to get it to be exactly like that. What is in the photo and how it is shown is not random, and the techniques (tools) used are not random either.
