Squareshaped ... the making of (full story)

These are the two photos that were used to make squareshaped.

A copy was made of each of these two, and each of the copies were rotated 180 degrees. So, that made four indvidual images. These were stacked on top of each other in a semi-transparent state, and then they were cropped. They were then merged into one, and special darkroom work was done in the process. The result was shapeshifted.

That image (shapeshifted), was copied so that I now had two images. One copy was rotated 90 degrees and stacked on top of the other in a semi-transparent state. Each of those two layers then had special darkroom work done, and the result was merged into one image: squareshaped
